Technical Project Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with a solid experience in consumer product development and industrialization to join our team. In this role, you will manage strategic projects from planning to delivery, ensuring technical excellence and strong customer relationships. You will combine your engineering background with project management expertise to lead complex initiatives across multiple domains.
Role
- Lead and manage strategic projects from initiation to completion, ensuring scope, quality, and timelines are met
- Understand the project technical aspects such as architecture and risks
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Conduct technical reviews and ensure compliance with development process
- Verify the quality of projects deliverables
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and management
- Coordinate the development teams to achieve project objectives
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and tools
- Support business development by contributing to proposals and technical discussions with clients
- Ensure cybersecurity considerations are integrated throughout the project lifecycle
Profile
- MSc or BSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
- Proven experience in product development for medium and large-scale productions
- Strong understanding of embedded systems, electronics, and IoT solutions
- Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, PMI, or equivalent)
- Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in customer-facing roles
- Familiarity with risk management techniques and tools
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Jira, or similar)
- Fluent in English and French, written and spoken
- PMP or similar certification is a plus
- Experience or familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks for IoT projects is a plus
